Today, the Municipality of Metline, in partnership with La Volonté association, celebrated the National Tree Day. The event saw the participation of various components of civil society in Metline, including the Matline Scout Troop, the company Wik, as well as many local residents.

Participants chose to plant trees in educational institutions across Metline as a way to teach the younger generation about the value of trees and their vital role in protecting the environment, while also fostering a culture of volunteerism among children and youth, and emphasizing the importance of preserving the beauty and cleanliness of their school surroundings.

The olive tree stood out prominently among the many types of trees planted on this day.

Special thanks go to:

  • The Delegate of Ras Jebel for his support
  • The local chiefs
  • The Regional Delegation of Agriculture
  • All staff members of the educational institutions in Metline

Long live Tunisia.
