This network was created as part of the project promoting the role of women in the energy sector in Tunisia, implemented by the agency’s national energy management program in partnership with GIZ Tunisia.
The network brings together a large number of NGOs active and operating in the governorate of Bizerte in the field of the environment, energy, in the promotion of gender in public policies as well as experts scholar in renewable energy and activist for sustainable development sustainable.
The main objective is to raise awareness and promote the essential role of women and their active participation in energy management in the energy within homes and also through educational institutions to promote renewable energies and sustainable development in through younger generations.
