At the invitation of the cultural club Ali Belhawan, La Volonté association participated during the past week in the activities of the Arab-European Youth Forum on “Policies for Youth” with the participation of about 150 participants from 27 Arab, African, European and Asian countries.
The association was represented by Mr. Mohamed Ousleti and Miss Yosra Zaghbib.
This forum, organized by the Regional Commission for Youth and Sports in Sfax in association with the cultural club Ali El-Bahwan in Tunisia, falls within the framework of “Tunisia the capital of Arab youth” for the year 2019/2020, and its activities took place in the cities of Sfax and Tunisia from the 5th to the 9th of February.
The program of this international demonstration included a set of dialogues and proposals submitted by many associations and international organizations regarding youth policies, as well as highlighting the experiences of several Arab and European countries such as Morocco, Jordan, Egypt, Germany, France and Switzerland in relation to the strategic vision of the youth sector and the reference guide for youth policies.
The forum also included workshops on the role of civil society in developing national policies for youth and the role of government structures and state institutions, in addition to a tour for the participants in the tourist path of the ancient city of Sfax and the city of Sidi Bou Said in the capital.
