Within the framework of the project “Metline Schools, Model Schools” (the subject of the agreement signed between the Regional Delegation for Education in Bizerte and La Volonté association), the association completed the first phase of the works that were conducted in the two primary schools No. 1 and No. 2 in Metline, which were:
Primary school number 1:
– Re-paving 3 halls in the school with glaze and high-quality marble.
– Painting the front façade of the school and all the external doors at the main entrance, and repainting all the main corridors in the inner courtyard of the school.
Primary school number 2:
– Rebuilding the external water sink designated for drinking for school students and changing the current faucets.
– Acquisition of 2 floodlights of 200 watts powered by solar energy.
– Re-writing the educational quotes in the interance of the departments.
– Dividing the courtyard with lines that regulate the entry of students to their classes.
– Changing faucets in the sanitary complex of the primary school.
A delegation from the Regional Delegate for Education in Bizerte, headed by Mr. Mohamed Kassouri, the regional delegate, visited the schools to see what had been accomplished, and the association’s team was present for further coordination regarding the upcoming works. The “Metline Schools, Model Schools” project remains an ongoing project for all those who wish to contribute. All that has been accomplished in both schools, is credited to the people/citizens both inside and abroad the Metline region, and to the friends of the association.
