As part of the ongoing program agreed upon earlier this year between the Municipality of Metline and La Volonté Association, aimed at planting trees and enhancing green spaces, we held our second tree-planting event today with the participation of the Tunisian Scouts in Metline and various civil society organizations. The event was attended by local chiefs and many citizens, reflecting their commitment to improving the surroundings and raising environmental awareness among the younger generation.

Today’s intervention focused on the sidewalk leading to the middle school and the main entrance for students, where trees were planted to create a more beautiful and shaded area. The activity also extended to the high school, covering both its backyard and main courtyard, as part of an integrated effort to improve the educational environment and provide natural spaces that enhance student comfort and promote a culture of environmental preservation.

This activity was not just a tree-planting operation, but also an opportunity to instill values of cooperation and teamwork, highlighting the role of volunteer initiatives in improving quality of life, particularly within educational institutions that help shape environmentally conscious future generations.

Thanks to everyone involved.
